Description

Leek is traditionally valued for its anthelmintic, antiasthmatic, anticholesterolemic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, cholagogue, diaphoretic, digestive, diuretic, emollient, expectorant, febrifuge, hypoglycaemic, hypotensive, stimulant, stomachic, tonic, vasodilatory, and blood-building properties.

It is commonly used to support cardiovascular health by helping regulate blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Leek also aids digestion, promotes healthy circulation, and supports respiratory function in colds and cough. In traditional practice, it is valued for strengthening vitality and is used in sexual debility, piles, and general weakness. Its nutritive and haematinic actions make it useful in improving overall strength and blood quality.


Recommended Dosage
