Description<\/h2>\n

The flowers possess astringent and cooling properties and are traditionally used in disorders associated with excessive discharge and bleeding. They are beneficial in diarrhoea, dysentery, ulcers, gonorrhoea, dysuria, menorrhagia, and leucorrhoea. Due to their haemostatic action, they are also useful in bleeding piles.<\/p>\n

A decoction prepared from the flowers is traditionally prescribed in spermatorrhoea and related conditions of seminal weakness.<\/p>\n
